This is the main course to do if you are uncertain where to start.
It takes all of the emotion out of working on site and getting paid.
Why?
Subcontractors lose a lot of time and money because of:
- the game playing by builders with respect to the names of the company they are using;
- trying to stay on the right side of the builder and not offend them;
- being messed around on site;
- being messed around with payments;
- having to throw men and resources at a project to get it finished on time to avoid liquidated damages despite the delays being caused by the builder;
- leaving large amounts of money on the table in order to get paid something;
- Giving discounts on progress claims in the hope the builder will pay them the last claim;
- inability to get practical or final completion;
